Terms of use

The short version: this is a Vedic astrology app for reflection and planning. It describes tendencies and windows of time. It does not promise outcomes, and it is not advice from a doctor, a lawyer or a financial adviser. Using it means you agree to what follows.

01What this is

We compute a sidereal chart from the birth details you give us — Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses, Vimshottari dasha — and read it with rules drawn from classical Vedic astrology. Where a reading is written in sentences, a language model is doing the writing from findings the engine produced; it never calculates anything itself.

Astrology is a tradition of interpretation, not a science of prediction. Everything here is offered in that spirit: a lens for thinking, never a forecast you should stake something irreversible on.

02What this is not

  • Not medical advice. The Health area, and anything else in the app, never diagnoses, treats or predicts illness, and says nothing about lifespan. For anything about your health, or your child's, see a doctor.
  • Not legal or financial advice. Timing windows are not investment, tax or legal guidance, and Loans and legal cannot say who will win a particular case. For money and law, ask a qualified professional.
  • Not an exam or admission result. Study and exams describes tendencies and good periods; results come from preparation.
  • Not a guarantee. A window that favours something is not a promise that it happens, and a demanding stretch is not a prediction that something goes wrong.
  • Not a crisis service. If you are in distress, please talk to someone — in India, Tele-MANAS on 14416 is free and available 24x7.

Decisions you take after reading anything here remain yours. We will not be liable for them, and by using the app you accept that.

03Your account

You need to be 18 or older to hold an account, and the phone number you sign in with should be yours. Keep it to one account per person, keep your details accurate — a wrong birth time changes the reading more than anything else — and don't share your sign-in with someone else.

You may add family members, including children, as people on your account, as a parent or guardian would. Add people you actually know, and respect their wishes if they would rather not be in the app.

04Plans and payment

  • There is a free tier, and paid plans billed monthly or yearly through Razorpay. The price shown at checkout is what you pay, in Indian rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings — you keep everything you paid for until the end of the period already billed, and you are not charged again.
  • We do not refund part-used periods, except where the law requires it or where something on our side plainly went wrong. If you think it did, write to us before asking your bank.
  • Reports and readings you have already made stay readable after a downgrade. Your chart is yours to keep.
  • If a price changes, existing subscribers are told before it applies to them.

05Fair use

Please don't:

  • scrape the app, automate it, or resell readings as your own service;
  • upload other people's birth details in bulk, or use the app to profile people who have not agreed to it;
  • use it to frighten, pressure or harass anyone, including by presenting a reading as a certainty;
  • attempt to break the security of the app, or reach data belonging to another account.

We may suspend an account that does these things. We will tell you why.

06WhatsApp messages

Messages are opt-in and you choose the time. On a paid plan you get one briefing a day, and on big days a separate special-day message, which you can switch off on its own. Each counts toward your plan's monthly allowance. Family members you include appear in your message; they are never messaged themselves, and children never are.

Switch messages off in Settings and they end. Message delivery depends on WhatsApp and our provider, so we can't promise a message always arrives on time, and WhatsApp's own terms apply to your use of WhatsApp.

07Availability and changes

We improve the app continuously, which means screens change and occasionally a feature is merged into another or retired. We aim to keep it running all the time, but we don't promise uninterrupted service — maintenance, an upstream provider or a bug can interrupt it. If something is broken, telling us at astrologyunraveled@gmail.com is the fastest way to have it fixed.

08Your content, our content

The events, notes and questions you enter stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. The engine, the interpretations, the writing and the design are ours; please don't copy them into a product of your own.

09Liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction. If any part of this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
