What is Astrology Unraveled?
Astrology Unraveled is a Vedic astrology app. It calculates your own birth chart and explains it in plain language: a reading for your day every morning on WhatsApp, your kundali, dasha and transits, panchang and muhurta, kundali matching, and readings for work, money, marriage, health, family, children and pets. You can also ask Unravel, our AI astrologer, anything about your chart.
How is my chart calculated?
From your date, time and place of birth, an astronomy engine works out where each planet was. We use the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, the standard in Indian astrology. From those positions come your houses, nakshatras, divisional charts, your Vimshottari dasha periods and the transits running now. The same inputs always give the same chart.
How are the readings written?
Readings are written from the calculated results, not from your Sun sign alone. The facts (which planet, which house, which period, which dates) come from the calculation; the wording that explains them is generated by AI and kept in plain language. When something depends on an exact birth time you don't have, the reading says so.
What can astrology tell you, and what can't it?
Astrology describes tendencies and favourable or difficult windows. It never guarantees an outcome, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser. We don't sell gemstones or pujas, and we don't use fear to push remedies: where a traditional remedy is mentioned, it is optional and free.
What happens to my data?
Your birth details are used to calculate your chart and your readings. Personal data is never sold or shared for advertising, and there are no advertising trackers on the site. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time. See the privacy policy for the details.
